Also our islands in the Curonian lagoon in Lithuania were harvested this month with lots of manpower: Students in Biology & Marine Biotechnology of Klaipeda University supported us. The total above-ground biomass was removed, weighted and sampled for nitrogen and phosphous analyses. It is now the task of the students to explore if there is any inter-annual variability in species specific dry weight and nutrient content.
