LiveLagoons will be present at the 8th European Coastal Lagoons Symposium in Athens 20-23 March and talk about the potentials of internal measures to combat eutrophication in lagoon environments. In the session on European networks and projects in transitional areas and lagoons Prof. Arturas Razinkovas-Baziukas will discuss with the audience if and how biomanipulation improves the water quality. In an additional poster session LiveLagoons will present how sustainable harvest of emergent macrophytes in natural wetlands or on floating islands could help to decrease internal nutrient loads. We invite the Eurolag participants to join us during our participatory mapping workshop on the 22nd of March, 5-7 p.m., in the poster session area!
