On August 13th the project lead partner Klaipėda university and one project partner the Curonian Spit National park administration organized a public day in Juodkrantė (Lithuania).
The meeting was held next to one floating island in Amber bay, where introductory information and general aims and objectives were presented to attendees. These were representatives from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Neringa municipality, chief specialist of the budget Institution “Klaipėda Beaches” and administrator of the Dangė River in Klaipėda, EUCC Baltic Office, NEO Group, as well as representatives from the local community.
